After a recent keynote during Q&A someone said to me,
“It’s a fact that people hate change. So, how do we overcome that in sales?”
My answer: Respectfully, that’s not true! Everyone I know WANTS to change something about their life, and most executives I know will change in an instant if there is a powerful enough reason to.
So, why is it ‘common knowledge’ that people don’t want to change?
- The reason to is not Quantified
- It’s not clear that their need is being met
- Their motivation doesn’t match the level of the change
- Don’t know how
How do we look at change as owners? Here are some thoughts from a recent video available in our community.
